ABOUT THE SERIES

Jane in Finch is a television drama inspired by real experiences and told from the point of view of Jane, an immigrant healthcare worker building a new life in Canada.

The series follows Jane’s journey from arrival to settlement—navigating job searches, onboarding into the healthcare system as a personal support worker, the emotional ups and downs of work, relationships, and the everyday realities of sharing life and space with her aunt in a vibrant community.

At its core, Jane in Finch is about resilience, identity, community, and dignity in work.

This project is intentionally open and inclusive. We welcome actors, crew members, creatives, sponsors, and supporters from all backgrounds who share a passion for authentic storytelling. Opportunities to participate are designed to be fair, transparent, and accessible, with the belief that great stories are best told by a collective of like-minded people working together.
